Just Shed ^_^
That's amazing looking! I like how he looks kinda grumpy
At the risk of sounding like a moron, what is he exactly?

Bah dont worry about sounding like a moron, because you dont! Really!
Better to ask, than not
Hes a Bullsnake, a whitesided morph. and are one of the coolest colubrids around * i think!* There are a couple others in the "pituophis" group, and they are Pine snakes, Gopher snakes as well as the Bulls. I THINK ( someone correct me if im wrong) there is one more kind.. but its not seen very often. It could just be a specific locale of one of the above though. Harald would know better than me, * They were the ones a girl on here had posted awhile ago harald, i commented about wanting them because i had never seen them before, do you remember what im talking about?*
I highly recommend them, you definitely would not be dissapointed! They look mean, and can have a tude, but theyre mostly bluff, and just like to hiss and show off. Harald's got some pretty great bite shots though here too... Check out the rest of the forum this thread is in, i think youll find them to be pretty interesting snakes!
I thought he looked familiar! I picked up a piece of cardboard at a lake one time and found a rather large bullsnake staring at me! I love the way they look, their eyes are amazing!
I've mostly been into pythons and boas, but I just recently got my first colubrid...a snow cornsnake. (My dog found her outside my apartment building!) I love their personalities and would definitely like to try my hand at other kinds of colubrids. I'll have to look into them a bit more. Do you breed and sell them yourself then? Are they fairly easy to keep happy and healthy?
The ones you are referring to, Alicia, have several different names
I've seen them called (in print) Middle American gophers, Cope's gophers, Cincuate bulls, Cincuate pines, and Mexican lined pines.
(Pituophis lineaticollis)
Alright, CoolI'm leaning toward pines, based on what I have seen; but I asked John & will let you know what he says
