If a Hines line SHCT is outcrossed, for how many generations can you still call it a Hines line? Does the way the babies look have any bearing? For example, if I cross a Hines SHCT with a hypo tang and the result is SHTCT with that "ghost" coloring, is this a Hines gecko? If it has spots, what do I call it? If I cross the most "Hines" looking one with something else, can I call the next generation Hines? Also, if there is a genetic component to a Hines line gecko, can you say that an offspring is "het for Hines"?
