Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them.     Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hog island, cross, or redtail?

I bought this boa from a local petstore marked as a hog island, and the tail just seems a bit to red to be a true hog. Any thoughts?

Looks more Hogg than anything else, could be a hypo Hogg,there's not many true hoggs about now a Day's

It's definitely mostly Hog Island but it doesn't look quite pure. The build is too thick and the color isn't quite right for a true Hog. As Richard said, most Hogs are not pure now, sadly enough. Whoever started that hypo hog crap back in the day (can't remember off the top of my head) did a huge disservice to the boa community.
