    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Recently, we read an ad for dry rodent diet - and sent an email to the seller asking how it was possible. The answer I got in no way explained how it could be done...

Here is the text of the ad:

That's about $0.60 per POUND FOR THE BEST DIET YOU CAN GET!!!

Can any of you explain to how to get 33 pounds of pellet diet into 2 USPS boxes??? Sure, we know about the "Flat Rate boxes" - we use them all the time (they cost $8.10 to ship), but we can only get 10 pounds of our dry insect diet - or 6 pounds of dry tortoise diet in them - that's it! And that is the larger FR box.

Even with the rabbit diet (smaller pellets) - we don't see how this is possible. So - what are we missing? If there is a secret way to ship larger amounts for less, our customers would love it!!
