    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

We feed our 2 babie beardies about 2 dozen crickets a piece and im starting to think that maybe thats not enough, they get greens through out the day but I hear people on here saying they feed their babies more than that! should we feed them more than 12?

Baby dragons are little machines. Machines designed to eat you out of house and home. It is not uncommon to have a single baby eat 40-50 crickets a day. A simple rule to follow is dump in 10 crickets for the 2 dragons. If they eat them all dump in 10 more. Continue until you see them ignoring them. At that point it is safe to assume they are full. Of course 4 hours later they are ready to eat again.

Don't worry about over feeding them. Most of them know when to say when. Feed em enough to make em full and you will have 2 fat healthy dragons :)

Ok I was just checking because I want them to grow up happy and healthy, plus even thought the other baby male we plan not to keep now that it is not the female we thought it was we still want to make sure it is healthy so that whoever buys it from us has a healthy baby to start out with instaed of something thats not.Plus isnt there a rule kinda with dragons that the more they eat the bigger they will grow or get? Some have said that to me and I was really wondering if that was a true thing, I havent raised babies before but I have raised my german giant Louise just fine.

2 dozen cricket a piece if just fine, you could go less or more and they would be OK with it :)

How many babies have you raised ReptileKing? I would hope the answer is zero. You NEVER under feed babies. They won't be OK with it. Their bodies need food and a lot of it to grow and develop. I mean no disrespect but that was a bit of bad advice you gave out.
( Sadly, I speak from experience on this issue. )

If they are hungry feed them. Going less would be a bad thing because they would not get all the nutrition they need. Feeding them more will do little harm as they tend to know when to stop. They don't gorge themselves for fun. They have a high metabolism rate which necessitates a lot of food and multiple feeding.

Once adults they won't require as much food or near as many daily feedings. But under feeding babies is not the way you want to start out doing things.

The more anything eats the bigger it will grow or get. Isnt the fattest person in your family usually the one that has 5 helpings at Thanksgiving. I feed mine as much as they will eat at least 3 times a day.

OK im not saying im going to force my beardie to eat him self to obesity but if i feed him alittle more than usual he will get bigger? I hope so caus eid like for him to be one those dragons people look at and go WOW! but of course all dragons are different and how ever big he gets will be fine with me!

I'd say just give them as many as they eat 2-3 times daily (within 15 minutes per feeding)... Don't underfeed. That can lead to tails and toes looking tasty, among other potential things...

We feed our's every 3 or 4 hours and i feed until they stop eating.

How many crickets do some of you buy per week? We have to buy 12,000/week and maybe 1000 mealies every other week.
