In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I have a 2.5 year old leopard gecko male, I was wondering how many females he could mate with per breeding season and the eggs would be fertile. I am not saying I am going to breed him, but if I ever decided to, I want to know. :)

You can put him with a bunch of females if you want to. Usually when i breed I put the female in the males tank. I watch and see if they breed. If they breed I take the female out and give the male a break of a day or two. This way his sperm count can build up for the next female and he so he wont over do it. I hear that if you over breed a male it can cause a prolapse. I dont know if its true or not. Someone correct me if im wrong.

Oh God, it's getting them to STOP that's an issue! They'll keep going and going until it's probably unhealthy if you keep the females in the same tank as him. When my females are in season, breeding is as easy as putting the female with the male or vise versa, and they get their business done in under 5 minutes. I separate them, and I've had zero problems. I generally have my stud breed about 10-15 times a year, and I only have a few adult females. Every 2-3 clutches, I rebreed the females.

So yeah, if you use the method I use, I doubt any harm will come of your geckos, and I don't if there's a limit to males at all when done this way.

Well said, I usually have more trouble getting my females to accept males.
