    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

how much does it hurt....

Random question but i wanna know if anybodies ever been bit by an ETB. I noticed they have quite the teeth on em. was wondering how much it hurt.

I have an 8 year old daughter that asks me the same thing when she is tending to her corn snakes. I tell her it will not hurt as bad as it looks. But then again a boa can be a bifferent story, I was tagged by my yearling JCP the other day and it bleed like I had been shot...Oh and to answer you question.....You just have to find out for yourself...lol

It all depends on your tolerance for pain. I've had baby rainbow boas tag me before, and it feels like you're being stabbed (repeatedly I may add) with fairly large needles. For a baby BP, it feels like someone slammed a stapler down on your finger. I wouldn't personally want to be tagged by anything larger....

You are not a good keeper until you have been christened...:)

I read your question about cages.

Perhaps I can help, but I am extremely busy with various responsibilites.

Why don't you check out my web site, and if you have any questions contact me from there, and I will give you my phone number.

Sorry if in any way that is an inconvenience.

well i have never had a ETB bite me but i have had a GTP hit my hand and she was an adult...i felt the teeth hit my bone in my finger and it hurt like hell. but the flesh on your fingers is very thin i expect on the arm or somewhere els it would not be as bad

The ETB that I had, was notorious for biting (everyone at the shop called him The Grouch). He wasn't too bad in the pain department as it was all defensive strikes but they bled a lot. Like a razor cut.

Now, I had a monitor (Argus) grab me a couple of weeks ago and that hurt. It was a full bite and I felt it hit bone. Bled pretty good as well. I have a lot more respect for monitors now :D
