In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

My question here is how soon after courtship with a female ball python can I move my male ball python to a new female ball python to get courted.

Depends on how many females you're planning for him.
Personally, no matter how much I like something, I won't breed a male tomore than two females/season...but, I've been speaking against overproducing for years, and limit myself to a certain number of babies per species (and total) accordingly.

If you're just pairing and hoping - rotate him through the girls, a few days with each, making sure to give him periodic breaks.
If you are using ultrasound or palpation - put him with the female when she is ready, and leave him til she ovulates. If females develop at the same time, rotate him through.

my question is after i seen the courtship. When after this can i move him out i have in plan 3 females this season for him and thats it.

Im new with ball pythons and wanted to know. So thanks so much. So is it a 3 day in 3 day out then back in 3 days? Or the days thats it and he can be moved to a new female.

Courtship doesn't mean much, in the grand scheme of things - that isn't what gets the job done. Further, it doesn't matter how many times you observe copulation/intromission - don't consider him finished until the female ovulates. I've seen it work the first time; and I've observed copulation over a period of months without the female becoming gravid.

My BP's get fed on Sunday evening so...

Sun - Tue: male out
Wed morning - Fri: male with female #1
Sat: remove male (obviously wait for the pair to unlock)
Sun: offer food

Repeat following week with female #2

Week #3 I give him the week off.
