    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

hypo has me confused

i hatched out 2 baby leos from a hypo tangerine x tremper mix and assumed they would turn out hypo hets for tremper. but now, 2 weeks old they have developed blue eyes not typical of hypo tangerines. is this normal for hypo hatchlings? will the blue fade? mayb they have more albino showing than i thought (they were both born yellow/ black stripes. now, the stripes on one have lightened up to look purplish gray, w/ a not so intense yellow while the other's has brownish gray stripes w/ almost highlighter yellow. uch i wish i could post pics but my bro took the camera to camp, if i can find my sister's that she lost ill post, sorry) is this normal for hypo hatchlings or will they turn out something else? thanks
 
It may be the lighting, take them outside where you can get a better look, here is a hypo (maybe super hypo) that is about 2 weeks old, she looks almost yellow and gray inside and in pics but outside she has more tang showing.

The 2nd pic is of a DH for albino/patternless, both parents are her for patty and albino and it is losing the yellow and her bands are turning dark gray.

Does that look anythign like the ways your chaning colors?
 
those are about 10 days old, the tang one looks much better in natural light so maybe yours will too and sounds like yours is a SHT.

And maybe your other is tang her albino? Most of my DH's are getting that yellow fading out and the dark gray bands at 1-2 weeks old.

Im sure someone can help you more once you can get pics up, I jsut noticed the same thing you were saying about the colors on my tang babies so far.
