    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I Am Unable to Edit/Delete Posts

you now have to be a contributing member to edit or delete posts..i think it's rediculous.. but hey...what are ya gonna do,,,
 
I think the attachments are photos you've loaded for ads? Mine was that way and when I deleted the ads I had more space. Some forums do not allow editing either.

Sorry that you feel that it is ridiculous, but I felt that I needed to make some dividing lines between those people willing to ante up and help pay the bills here and those that don't.

Regular members cannot edit posts, and are limited to 1 meg of attachment space. Contributor members CAN edit posts (among other things) and have 5 meg of attachment space. As time goes on, I may make the gulf even wider to give people more incentive to pitch in.

Sorry if that offends anyone, but this is too much work, too much time, too much TROUBLE, and too much expense, for me to keep footing the bills all alone any longer hoping I can break even. But I am trying to find ways to share the load as painlessly as possible,so I am not changing into the ogre troll overnight. However, if this doesn't work, well then I may have no other choice but to put up a toll booth at the door.
 
Heck, that is one of the real weaknesses of this site. No one really notices anything until it breaks on them. Then they come to me and I can explain it to them. Not the way I would want to do this, but that's just the way it seems to work.
