In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hopefully now he won't get so excited when company comes and piddle all over ('pends on "who" said company is, you know). Here he is tonight, a little tired, but I'm sure he'll be all fired up and ready for foolin' around in no time.

His vet did the surgery by lazer instead of the regular "surgical" method. I don't really know the difference, but I can barely see any evidence of an operation at all. He doesn't seem to know any different, and he even ate like a pig as soon as he got home from the vet's. I always thought they were supposed to wait a while before eating, but the vet said that with the lazer surgery, it wasn't a problem. He has some pain meds that I'm supposed to give him "as needed" but I couldn't get his attention to take them tonight because he was too busy kicking the crap out of the golden retriever.

I've had two dogs neutered the "surgical" way, and I remember them being rather uncomfortable and cranky for a few days. This doesn't seem to have phased him at all.

I am hoping though, that he'll calm down a little and not be quite so aggressive with Jersey (the golden). She's a 5 1/2 year old puppy, but Cooper still manages to get her pretty worn out sometimes.

Good luck with the piddling. My wiener is fixed too, but she turns into a fountain when company comes over. She rolls over and sprays and wags her tail, it goes everywhere! It's be funny if it wasn't so yucky. :hehe:

Well, good thing you're talking about Cooper. I was trying to figure out what could possibly be wrong with your weiner that you'd have to get fixed! :slamit:

I was gonna say, "I didn't know your weiner was broken", but I guess Tere kind of beat me to it, lol... :raspberry

I've never heard of neutering done by laser...too cool! I'm guessing there's no stitches or anything to have to remove then, or...?

Kinda new to me, too. There aren't any stitches to be removed, just disolvable ones. I haven't had a dog fixed in... four years? So I guess they came up with some new methods for the surgery. Mom's cat was declawed by lazer though, but I wasn't there to see it or anything. (she's the one with the hip replacement, so we call her "bionic kitty"... that and "ninja kitty" because she's just a freak like that.)

Gah! I must have become immune to that kind of joke after years of telling hubby he has a big hairy wiener in his lap.

Ya know, the dog... :hehe:

I'm glad your wiener is doing so well Paul. :)

Mary-Beth, I have to be honest. Part of the reason I had to get Cooper fixed was because after he saw those pics of your wiener wearing those lacy undies, he just lost all control. I've never heard him howl like that before, and who knew dogs could actually make the wolf whistle?! :hehe:

LMAO!!!!!!! Those are just TOO funny!!!!!!!!!

And eh, see that smile on Toto's face in my avatar?? It's about 3 times bigger right now...and he's NEUTERED!!! :hehe:

(And I keep reminding people, he was already named when I got him.....)
