In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I'm looking to buy a male for my female but I'm not sure what to go with...

Hey,

I am probably going to get into breeding Bearded Dragons and I really need to find a good male. My female is a Hypo Yellow Pastel from Carolina Designer Bearded Dragons and I am looking for something that is a different morph and possibly het for Hypo Yellow Pastel. Is there anything that is really selling well and looks really cool?

Also, if anyone is selling that happens to see this and you have a male that has good genetics, please email me at [email protected].

Thank you and Happy Holidays.

Me personally....id stick with getting something that you think is really cool and not plan on making a killing sellling them. A perfect example is a guy I know wanted to produce hypo trans silks thinking they would be big money based on some breeders ads. Only to find out they were harder to sell than what he thought and were worth a lot less as well. Do what appeals to you and that will keep you interested.

Chris has some good advise. Maybe you should take his advise and take what your thinking and mix the two idea's. Maybe stick with producing hypos? or get a hypo het trans, it gives you a door way to something new next year, if desired. Dont decide you want to breed something, because of someone else's price tag.

I'd get a translucent leatherback(even het hypo maybe), and make double hets, then hold back some of the nicer lookin ladies to toy around with down the road. At least that way you have a lot of options about what to do next if you decided you like breeding beardies.
