In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I'm so egg-cited!

Yahoo! This is day 48 of my 2nd BP clutch EVAR!

At least I was able to mess with them today to separate them. I wish they would lay them like that for me. :D

So far--I am pretty sure that I saw at least 3 spiders in there. I candled them with a Mag Light and was able to see 3 patterns. There was 1 normal--and the others I couldn't tell.

I can't believe my little 1800g female laid 7 beauties like this. My earlier clutch from the same sized female got me 4 nice eggs.

I hait to wate. :)

I must need a better light...seems like everybody but me can see patterns. Only time I ever had was the CY spotted egg with the window.

Thanks gang!

I use a 4 D Cell Maglite--and still have a pretty difficult time seeing things in there. I sometimes use an empty toilet paper roll to focus/intensify the light. Even then, I can't always see.

Sometimes its just a tail or part of the back--but there's no mistaking a spider!

The whole process-even normals--is one of the most exciting I have ever experienced. I can't get enough----except for the perpetual cleaning..... :)

Also--I misspoke--Its day 47...... ARGH!!!

WOW!

What a HUGE DIFFERENCE on DAY 49!

And I noticed that the grass in my front yard had grown 1/16" as well. :yesnod:

Day 53

It's Day 53 @ 89 degrees---and something looks different:

5 are out and 2 are being shy!

So far, there's 2 female spiders, 2 female normals, 1 male normal and 2 still in the egg!!

look at this gal--

Well thankyuz!

The last spider is a male and the last normal is a female!

So, although I wish I could have gotten another male or two--not too bad to get 1.2 spiders and 1.3 normals out of a clutch.

They are so yummy I could almost eat one!!!!

Here they are with big sis from 2 months ago. I thought I was going to keep her---but now that I see the female with the reduced side----I want her too!!!!!

Argh...I wanna make albino spiders---and I am taking the "long cut". (Get it? Opposite of short cut.)
