In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Is this a good Pacman Frog Cage Design?

The design is a rough design for a 20 Gallon Tall tank.

I have calculated everything it should cost me about 50 dollars or so to make.

I have most of the supplies already but the ones I don't have add up to about $50.

I have researched and researched a lot on how to build and care for a Pacman frog and this terrarium seems to fit all the research well!

Dave, very nice plans and It shows you have put some thought into your set up. :)

You did not mention if the pac man is a baby or adult. that set up could work for a large adult. an adult can live comfortably in a 10 gallon.

Smaller is better for a baby, something along the size of a 6 quart shoe box, no moss or stones. as that will lead to problems. try a coco fiber substrate mixed with water and a shallow water bowl, add a couple small rocks to the water bowl to keep the frog and crickets from drowning. Good Luck

Thanks for replying and this is for a small frog but i will tank you idea until he gets big.

I haven't got he frog yet though my mom said I have to wait until my rat and hedgehog die because they are sick, the hedgehog has a tumor and the rat has suddenly lost a lot of her weight (and yes she had a full bowl and water bottle all the times) so I think she has a sickness that is incurable *sp, but I think I'll use your idea until the frog gets about 4 or 5 inches and then i will move it.

Oh by the way the water in the tank was planned to be no higher than the frogs tummy so it doesn't frown from the water getting in its nose. So yes I have planned and planned for this. I also designed a water fall that I am going to build out of cement. SO YAY! I can't wait!!!!! I will post when I get it

Something else to keep in mind with these horned frogs is that room temps wont work, add a heat mat and try to maintain 76-82* warm spot for them.

And that tiny cricket eater turns into a mouse slaying beast!

But yeah I know trust me I have made this design based on different layouts from different sites and from what I think, its going to be a sweet vivarium!

YAY ME!!!! I can't wait!
