    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

This is my first pied ball python. The breeder that I purchased him from told me that all of his siblings were leopards. He is the result of a 90% white pied male to a het pied female. The breeder suspects that the father is a leopard pied but does not know for sure because he is 90% white. I have been doing some research on leopard pieds and I have read that they are harder to ID because the pattern is obscured by the pied markings... I would really appreciate feedback on if this is a leopard pied or just a pied. The first 3 photos are of my pied and the fourth is female leopard from the same clutch.

I bought one a couple years ago and have never been able to tell it had leopard in it. If I were you I would send off to Pete Kahl and ask for ID help. He probably could tell a pied from leopard pied since he has extensive experience with them. The fact it came from a clutch with leopards in it increases the odds, if the breeder is trustworthy. Like me, you will know for sure once he breeds and produces.

It definately came from the same clutch (I produced it). I am certain the sire is a 90% white leopard pied bacause the dam looks fairly normal and I produced 6 leopards from and 8 egg clutch. I kept a 90% white fem. that I was told (by someone who should know) looks like a leopard pied, if this male in the picture is also a leopard pied, then 100% of the babies would be leopard.

Thanks guys. I will try emailing Pete with a photo. I can't wait for him grow up so I can see if he produces leopards :)

We have him in with a pastel female right now. No breeding yet. I'll post some current picture of him soon.
