    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I have a few questions. I am not sure about these pinkies I have...again. OK, like four days ago I bought Ten single Pinkies. I had made a Thread before saying that they were out in the nice weather for awhile because our friends truck had broken down on the way home. They are still in my freezer. Somebody, i forget who had replied that they might or might not be bad. That the tissue breaks down. They were only kinda defrosted once. I don't know how many times that has to happen for them to be bad? I looked at them today because Jakers gets feed today, and 9 of them look good and pink, and one of them is red. My Fiancee went to the Pet Store today for more food for Gex and got some more pinkies for Jakers just in case. They are called "Artic Mice." There in a little container, they are all individually sealed, and I think that they are to small first off, and second off ALL of them are red! Jake has been eating bigger pinkies. I have also never seen red pinkies yet. Is this good or bad????? Do you guys think I should just feed him one of the Artic Mice, or two, or should I just go ahead and give him a bigger one from the singles bag?

Newborn pinks are pretty red...

...I just went back to my mice, and I don't have any newborns...As soon as I do I will post a picture for you...

If Jake is used to eatting a Lg Pink weekly, it wouldn't hurt to feed him two of the small ones you just got.

As far as your previous feeders getting partially defrosted, I wouldn't worry about it. I would not suggest refreezing them if they had been completely defrosted. When I go to shows to get feeders usually by the time I get home my pinks/fuzzies are partially defrosted, and I've never had a problem.

The last bag of pinkies I bought had 1 large one, 3 normals and 1 that was tiny and red. The color of the tiny one was like raw meat which indicates that it's less then or about a day old.
