Hi all. I'm new to these boards and I wanted to make an inquiry about someone I'm about to do business with. I've never ordered a snake on line before and was wondering if anyone out there has done business with this man and could tell me if he is "on the level" or not? Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Be sure you get a commitment!! I spoke with him on a trade and he said he would get back with me on a answer. He never did and the next day the animals in questions were up for sale on kingsnake. Nothing really bad!! I just think he should have gotten back to me like he said he would.

First off, Jon is a great guy to deal with. No surprises and just a "straight shooter" !!! Keep up the good work Jon. Awesome Albinos by the way.
Reading the last comment though by Gilbert Thompson, I just HAD to comment ! Gilbert, no offense, I'm sure you're a well meaning guy, but you should be the last guy commenting on "commitment". You contacted me regarding a trade for chondros, asked a ton of questions, pumped me for info, (which honestly I don't have a problem with - always enjoy talking herps) but you never had the courtesy to call me or email me to tell me you changed your mind. I even called you like you asked, and then you never returned my call. Then I come to find out you were working a trade with the same "albino ball female" you were "trading" to me with a good friend of mine for gilas at the same time !!!
Normally I would not comment on something of this nature, but when you're slamming a friend for something I know first hand you're guilty of, it's hard to just sit back and watch.

I spoke with you about the chondros. That is true!! As far as running elsewhere during mine and your trade. That's not true!! Call Ken and ask him. The truth is! Me and Ken was going to do a deal and at that time. Ken backed out. When he backed out is when I spoke with you. So there is a confusion on times hear. I didn't speak to him and you at the same time. So you need to get with Ken and get that straight!!
As far as, me asking alot of questions. Yes sir, I do that and think that is customary. I think it is also customary that you answer them. As I recall we were both kinda playing phone tag. In other words, I was hard to reach as well as yourself from time to time. When I made up my mind not to go with the chondros yo were informed of that. I remember quit well!! You sent me an email and stated that you were friends with Ken and that it was a small world. I then informed you that I was not interested in the chondros. I thought it was kinda funny that you mentioned the above statement. However, at the time I didn't give any thought to it.
I don't feel I owe him an apology. What is this forum about honesty or not stepping on toes? I told the truth and I am sure Jon will agree with that. I am not slamming him and stated that in the first email. I was simply stateing an experience which is what the gentleman asked for.

I completed my transaction with Jon and it went PERFECT. I never made a transaction on line before, and was real skeptical. Jon saw that I had posted an iquiry about him and thought it was a good idea to get answers before dealing with people, even gave me a list of people to contact(thanks Rob meals). Stand up Guy and look forward to doing business with him again.
On another note I'm kinda a "newbe" with snakes and he was very informative. I asked him about a heating source(flexwatt) and asked him to send me a dagram on how to hook up a dimmer switch and HE SENT ME THE DIMMER WITH THE TAPE HOOKED UP. GREAT GUY!!!

either you are not be truthful or Ken is not telling the truth. Ken has an outstanding reputation in the hobby and is well respected. You on the other hand have already been questioned by one other person in this thread besides me regarding changing your mind or leaving people hanging.
As mentioned above this is a very small community and I have spoken to others who have spoken with you before. The consensus is almost universally the same regarding your habit of changing your mind. I don't think this makes you a bad person nor am I implying that it has anything to do with you delivering what you say you will when the deal is finally confirmed. I simply find it amusing that you pointed out someone elses possible flaw when you yourself seem to suffer from the same problem.

I don't know what is going on here. I was just informed by Ken that you are a great guy. He will be responding to this shortly. I have just gotten off the phone with him. I think the problem his you have got your wires crossed some where here. As far as, the deal with Gary!! Again I will repeat I was not playing him and Ken at the same time. Whatever you are talking about is Greek to me. I will be glad when this is cleared up by Ken. It is funny how I respond to another mans question and quickly become under fire. I guess that is the way it is sometimes. All I know is this has been good in a way. It clearly tells me who not to ever deal with. One thing I can say is I am not a broker or middle man and love my animals. I believe in producing stuff and having fun with it. Just because I am a nobody for now it seems okay I guess to jump to conclusions and take a shot at me. That is fine!! Have your fun but in the long run time will tell.
I have many, many people that are happy with me and what I have done. Anything else really doesn't matter.

Guys, All I will say on ALL this stuff is that "WE ALL KNOW the TRUTH"!!! Jackie is a GREAT, HONEST GUY and I have done ALOT of transactions with him with NEVER ONE PROBLEM!!

Fabulous snakes!
I bought a pair of pastel balls from Jon Roylance two months ago. They are possibly the best snakes I've ever had. Both of them eat anythime, anywhere -- a day before shedding, while half-crammed in my shirt-pocket, whatever. They've both shed all in one or two pieces since I got them.
I was a little hesitant, since these were my first balls. Jon happily offered an extended warranty on feeding (as if he knew it wouldn't be needed -- heh) and offered to meet me to drop off some live rat pups if I needed help transitioning the snakes from p/k to f/t. The snakes didn't even hesitate taking food off tongs the first time.
They're unbelievably tame, inquisitive animals. I am utterly thrilled, and I look forward to buying from Jon again.

Received an Albino Male Hognose from Jon about a month or so ago and everything went perfectly. Communication, packing, and follow up. I would not hesitate to order from him in the future!!
