groups such as USARK and Fauna do a lot for many of us in many ways. most of our issues ( from HR 669 to our new issue with S373 ) I would have had no knowledge of if it was not for Fauna and the links related to USARK. I realize that a lot of people find money tighter lately and donations I am sure are growing more stagnant because of this. My fiance works for a non profit and holds auctions to raise money with donated items and such for her line of work, so it led me to wonder, how much money could we raise if somehow we could set up an online raffle benefiting USARK and Fauna. My collection is far smaller then probably 90% of the members on fauna, but I would be more then happy to donate one or one of their offspring, and if a raffle were to occur I would certainly purchase raffle tickets for the chance at filling in the blank spots in my collection. I believe if this were to occur even low end snakes would bring in more in a raffle type format then they would being sold outright, thus generating more donations for both Fauna and USARK. I am sure there are things and issues I am not considering and my idea will soon be poked full of holes lol, but I figured any idea is better then no idea, and if it could be pulled off I think it would probably generate a descent return. There are more then enough breeders, cage manufacturers, ect on this site who benefit from being able to do business on here, and we all need to do our part to keep the wolves at bay and to keep places like Fauna and USARK up and running, Thank you for your time.
