In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Just out of curiosity... (special little leopard gecko girl)

I was wondering if anyone's seen one that looks like this before - - I certainly haven't, maybe it's just some result of poor breeding over and over again, but I think she's lovely. I particularly like the purple shades on her sides :)

I picked her up as a rescue from AWFUL conditions (a woman was keeping her in a fishbowl - a FISHBOWL!- with no heat other than the ambient heat in her apartment, and was trying to feed her greens. Silly, silly people - I swear, you should have to pass a test to own pets!) - she said she got her at Petco, so... I don't know. No worries, I nursed her back to health!

I call her Guadalupe! (I recently traded her and her cagemates to a herp expert as a gift for his daughter for a gorgeous beardie, but, I'd still like to know what ya'll think of her :)

Whoa. I apologize for the giant resolution of the image - stupid uploading software! She was getting ready to shed in this photo.

Looks like a super hypo tangerine baldy carrot tail (SHTCT). Sometimes these can range in color from dark to really bright orange. Your's just seems to be an in-between shade of those.

Thanks a lot! That's what I was thinking too - - she's so sweet, and so tiny!
Where on LI are you from? I grew up in East Islip/Great Neck :)

It looks like the SHTCT I use to have.
There was a lady on CL here in Va that was selling one and she posted that she fed it greens, lol.
Probably the same person.

I'd call her a Super Hypo Tangerine Baldy...I don't know if i'd consider her a "CT" (Carrot-Tail).

I the darker tone she has...we see so many fluroescent geckos these days, it's nice to give the darker ones some time in the spotlight, too! :)

Agreed! I think we need to bring back the more subdued ones, start a new trend in herp-keeping! :)

...I think the darker colors in her face really bring out her dark, emerald green eyes (though you can't tell from that photo) - and she's DEFINITELY the sweetest out of the entire bunch (save one 12 month old Super Mack Snow male, who made a habit of curling up in the hood of my sweatshirt and sleeping...sweetest little guy!)
