    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Ok hatched this girl out a few months ago, 7 eggs were laid, 4 good and 3 slugs, 2 hatched out normal looking(something cool going on)...and 2 hatched out looking like this, the other is a little smaller, paradox, small head aka a keeper. Parents were bumble bee male to pastel female. When these girls hatched they were all white, almost translucent heads,blue/green eyes. Swore they were killers, now there yellowing out, i hatched bees last year but didnt look like this

I have been staring at your pictures going back and forth. Reading your description about translucent head and green/blue eyes make me say it is a KillerBee, but I am on the edge too on not knowing for sure.

Did you decide one way or the other, then? I'd lean toward Killerbee, but not sure.. pics are my only experience with them, nothing in person...

Looks like a bumblebee to me too. Here is a pic of one of our killerbees that is about a year old. Notice that the head is still faded. The head of the OP pics look too dark for a killer to me. However, it is a very nice bumblebee.

The blacks of the Spider marking are WAY darker than any Killer Bee I have seen. I also agree that Bumble Bee's eyes do have the blue hue to them when hatched,the Bee's I have hatched all had the blue hue to them.

I think your Bee is just extra yellow, very nice.

Darn nice bumblebee. The black is a bit too black and the head does not look like a super pastel. It is really sexy though. :D

I said bumblebee too- but you know what>? when you kinda can't tell for sure- i think its better to have a very nice bee, then a duller looking killerbee.
