    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hello eveyrone my name is Michael, and I am a 15 year old snake hobbysit. I am in the Garter Snake, and King Snake field.

For such a long time I have wanted a young CA King Snake I could raise. But money has always been an issue with me. I dont have a job right now, and I only have $30. But I have also th eproper housing for at least 4 more snakes, and my parents pay for everythign else, its just paying for the snake I have to do.

I lov eking snakes but I don't get to hands on experiment with them at all, and whenever there are herp shows in my town, you're not allowed to sell snakes there, so I'm bummed.

I was wondering if anyone would like to possibly donate me a king, and I could pay for shipping or something. Please let me know at [email protected] thank you all so much!
 
Someone brought me a wild caught female a few weeks ago and I gave her away. BUT, it turns out she was gravid. The people I gave her to woke up to a surprise. LOL!

They are incubating the 6 eggs and they are planning to keep one and give the others away. They'll likely come back to me to get them all feeding.

So, if you don't find anything in the next 60 days (lol), I'll make sure one of these babies has your name on it. ;) Stay in touch with me, ok?

You are located in California so you would need a fishing liscense to got out and collect from the wild also anyone who sells you a california King snake must be able to provide you with it's permit # that that person is registered under. It is Illegal to wild catch and re- sell and also Illegal to sell without haveing a permit to do so with any native reptiles to the sate of California.

If any are just given to you try and get some sort of background from the person as to where it was caught from and where as well as there names and contact # for your records. There is a fine for selling wild caught native species without the proper permits.

Thanks for the info. I do know about the laws and such because I collect garter snakes. About the baby Kings...

When would they be available? How much is shipping? And would I have to pay for the snakes themselves?
