    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Anyone have an explanation for why they would do that? They didn't permit Reptster to be mentioned because it had a forum. They were fine with SYR being mentioned.
They have an automatic system set up to replace ReptilesExpress with -- now. lol.

(This is another reason why I love Fauna so much, by the way).

They could have spammed the forums with advertisements for the service or something along similar lines that in some way violated their rules.

K-snake has become very uptight about that sort of thing. I can understand it from a business standpoint (they make their money on ads and don't want 'em going around for free on the fora) but at times it's like...seesh guys, can't we talk amongst ourselves about it at least?

Take this thread, for example - it has been closed, and will be removed.
Since it is about a specific business (KS), and their dealings with another business, it is more in the realm of the BOI than this forum...(at least that is my interpretation of the precedents. I am not inclined to just move it there myself, in case the OP wants to make adjustments before placing it in that section.

Actually, that is not anything new; and I believe that similar complaints have been made in the past.
