So, before I start, I know this is something I'll need to work out through breeding, but my last clutch just hatched last week and the results were kind of neat and not as expected...
The pairing was a het red axanthic female x red axanthic, mojave hypo, CH granite type, and possibly pastel butter male(never saw a lock with him). The only real option as sire is, IMO, the CH granite type male, so here are pics of him(1st pic) and the HRA female...
Now here are pics of the offspring, which ended up being 2 males, 2 females...I'll just refer to them as granites, as it is most likely what they are.
Male possible granite
Female possible granite
Male Granite
Female HRA possible granite
So, obviously, I'm unsure about 3 of the 4...the first two pictured are pretty ordinary looking, but share some characteristics with the third one, that I think they may just be less exaggerated variations. I absolutely love how the third one came out, and would love to be able to replicate him down the line. As for the HRA, again I'm unsure of. Looks like a het red, but a bit different. Would be pretty sweet if I hit the granite on 4 of 4. Planning on another clutch or two sired by this male in the spring.
Thanks for looking, and any comments, feedback are definitely appreciated...
