    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

www.DrGeckos.com is an awesome site! I've been reading through it all nite. I now know a few more things. For starters the baby girl that died was to far gone. There were symptoms I was seeing with her I couldn't identify until reading it here. She was Anorexic, Lethargic, and had Tremors and I think it was a seizure that killed her because she was flipped over on her back when found dead. Her head shook sometimes like she was cold, and she appeared disoriented. You could see this by looking at her eyes. That poor girl was already on her death bed when I picked her up at his house. :(

I also have one extremely cute and fiesty little girl that might be blind in at least one eye. I read on drgeckos.com that Calcium and Vitamin A will help her eye sight. I am also going to soak a couple little ones for dehydration. The emaciated Adult Male's skin is not elastic at all. A good soaking with luke warm water mixed with Pedialyte might help. I also found out that the babies with MBD will need dropper feed Calcium everyday for 1-3 months for maximum improvement. I think I'm on the right track here? What do you guys think?

Also all of them are moving around SO much more and spunky! I read for active Leos a Vet would probably recommend the dropper feeding, oral I should say. I just feel bad I can't take them to the Vet. :) I have my own little ones that need me in this way though.

All of these little ones come to find out have some of the cutest, or not so cute personalities! The boy with MBD is the most beautiful Jungle but hes fiesty and not scared to bite in an instent! I can tell that most have never been handled very much. Their not "tame." Tame for Leos meaning TOLERANT of your handling pretty much. Gex is, he just lays there and looks at you and doesn't wiggle and fight when I pick him up. The "fiesty" Adult girl that might be blind in one eye, maybe both is the cutest thus far! She is ALWAYS moving and we have to make sure to put the lid back on or she'll climb out and go for a ride, and shes the one with the round eyes and the only one with little round beaty eyes! Shes adorable! There are quit a few that don't look so bad off. The babies have enough fat but MBD, a few are just skinny and I have at least two that look totally normal. Thank God!

I am going to have a hard time placing these guys. I don't want anybody taking them thats not going to take them to the Vet, since their keeping them. I have a few local friends that want them and I won't want to give them up unless they take them to the Vet, for the Leo's and I recommend it for a better experience for the new Parent themselves. Who on Fauna is going to want a Leo that might be blind or has MBD, even with improvement? *Sigh* I just can't wait to see how this all goes. Their rehabilitation, and re homing.

Ooops. I also learned a little bit about Crypto. I read it can be passed to humans? I also read that in this case that poop should be removed IMMEDIATELY. I guess they can keep passing it back to themselves if their poop stays in their with them. Its a good thing I always remove it when I see it and I'm always checking on them. Disinfecting with bleach is important in this case to.

I just got done giving two out of three a good water and Pedialyte bath. I'm in the middle of cleaning tanks. The emaciated Adult Male though, when I put him in his bath I noticed his tongue was white? Maybe from Calcium? It turned pink though, and since the bath hes been moving around quit a bit more. This is good I hope.
