In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Leopard gene...

I gotcha lol. Yeah, im mixed in the offspings outcome myself now..

Leopard x Leopard (if the 100% pied is true) should yeild 50% Leopard Pieds, 50% Leopards 100% Het Peids right? If not then it would be 50% Leo Pieds, 25% Leopards HET Pied, and Normals/Leopards?? Im assuming (with Leos all being hets), all offspring SHOULD visually Show the Leo gene right?

Lol, Im getting myself confused..

What IS known from what I gather is there IS a Super Leopard, being the Leopard Pied. Thatmale/Female bred to ANYTHING will produce _____morph that ALSO visually shows the Leopard gene.

Idk, like mentioned earilier we need some input by a breeder that has a few years breeding the Leopards to get a more concrete answer..

Leo X Leo should produce 25% Leo Pied, 50% Leo, and 25% normal....if the gene works the same way as recessive/incomplete Dom, and all "hets" should be visibly "het" Pied with the Leo gene.

Lets dig this back up lol.

So more reading has appearently shown the Pied gene CAN be seperated from the Leopard gene...

Also, a Super Leopard does Not have to be a Pied??

I read the post Graziani made on KS and it still seems weird lol.

This gene seems to be able to do.alot of stuff and I bet is still along way to go to see what it can really do..

I was messing with the wizard today and WOW, the new 2013/12 2/3/4 gene combos are sick..

Any other ideas/comments? I need more info! Lol.

Keith, I think it's time you buy a Leopard!! I also read Greg's post regarding the Leo gene on KS. Very good information, Excellent thread!

What still has me confused though, are the dates that were referenced.... For those of you reading this that own a copy of John Berry's First Edition, "Designer Morphs" published in 2006. Turn to page #153 (In the un-proven mutations section). Greg Graziani posted a picture of one of his animals that was named "Classic Jungle" (Totally unproven randomly occurring mutation).

Now, IMHO... That is a picture of a Leopard! If I am correct, no-one knew what the hell they were back in 2006.

Lol, it's in the works man..

Im just seeing all this info and still "iffy" lol. Not confused really, just intrigued I guess..

Kinda lost as to how the Pied can be removed from the leopard though.. I read I believe Grazaini's post saying something like we bred LeoxLeo and made pieds, then leoxleospider and nada? Lol.. Idk.
