    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

was wondering if anyone could spot lineage of my dragon...
just out of curiosity.

is from lll reptiles. he is supposed to be a red - but i think they must have mixed their stock somehow because he seems to be more orange-ish. if anything at all..
 
That is almost completely impossible Tina....people have blended reds,oranges,yellows+ normals for so long,you would never know. What some people call reds,others would call orange.A big company may buy babies from many different breeders...some come with made up names. In 17 years of owning beardies I have seen names pop up every few years that had never existed previously. And almost all colored beardies [ and even normal greys+ german giants] can be traced back to Bob Mailloux [ Sandfire Dragon Ranch] and Pete Weiss[ the redflame+ German Giant]
 
its nearly impossible to know the lineage of a bearded dragon unless it is a extreme visual morph (such as you can tell if a dragon is hypo, leather, silk, or trans) but as to bloodline you have to contact the breeder for that.

If you got him from LLLreptile it is possible he came from a red bloodling. They can call a dragon a red dragon due to his background no matter what color he comes out. Its called a sales tactic. But nice looking fella.

Just curious Tina,did you see a picture of it before purchasing or did you just order a red and that is what was sent? Unless my eyes are deceiving me I don't see any red nor much orange [ orange and red really being used as a description interchangeably,just like a person with"orange hair" being called a redhead]
 
when i first got him, he was redder - but it was only a stain from his sand that made him seem so red; it disappeared once he shed ... but im not saying i was ripped of or anything-
its not a big deal that he isnt brightly colored, im fine with him being just regular.
