In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Liver and onions

Mmmmmm....I like some "Jane's mixed up salt", and saute' the liver with the onions. Then...just add love!

No, Chuck....not that kind of love before you say it, LOL!

You fought for this forum, now you are branding it with your own likes and dislikes?

Is that really the way to encourage people to post their recipes?

How about some pigs feet there Lucille. :>Puke<:Each to their own.

Now to the Liver. Lightly flour, pan fry with a little bacon grease. Cook the onions separately until clear and sprinkle Parmesan cheese over and cover liver with onions and serve. :lick:

Oooh, yeah! That's what I'm talkin' about!

You fought for this forum,

I did not fight for this forum at all. I made a suggestion for the forum to be created and put it to a poll. The status of the poll determined the outcome. I was happy it was created because I like cooking.

now you are branding it with your own likes and dislikes?

Absolutely. I have likes and dislikes just like everyone else does. I don't personally find liver appetizing - however it may be prepared.

Is that really the way to encourage people to post their recipes?

Clue me in. When was I nominated the ambassador of this forum? I'm not trying to encourage or discourage anyone from posting recipes.

Add a little (really just a little or it's too salty) Oyster Sauce (from your local Chinese store) to the mix while frying, then ad a little water and simmer, gives the gravy a much richer meaty flavour.

On a serious note just for a moment, beef liver has a ton of cholesterol; be careful how often you eat stuff like that.

I think you'd prolly be a stud muffin no matter what you ate.....

I loooove liver n' yumions. Pan fry in extra virgin olive oil with soy sauce, good to go. I always eat my liver n' onions with rice, it's a cultural thing, but you folks gotta try it, it's good.
