In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

she looks fantastic especially considering on tueday she was at deaths door. she still has a LONG way to go but i am very optimistic on her out come. we have to give her SEVERAL meds per day for at least the next two weeks or so, she has to stay indoor for that long and can not get excised or exert too much energy. but look at that smile!!!

It's Pickle butt!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

she is taking famotidine 20 mg once daily
baytril 60 mg twice daily
amoxitabs 400 mg twice daily
imuran 60 mg tabs once a day
carafate 1gm twice a day
diawin #1000 as needed for diareah
1.5 tablets of prednizone twice daily
and a one time dosing of strongid for hooks
its allot but well worth it.
and we will be starting both morgan and pickles on heartgaurd as soon as russ can have time off... the doctor wants us to watch them to make sure they have no adverse reactions and since i dont drive, its hard for me to get them to the vet if they do have a reaction. btw morgan also tested positive for HW however very low.... so even though they have HW the outlook looks good and we hope pickles makes it but so far it looks very promising.

Are they going to put Morgan on the prednisone and a blood thinner before starting the Heartgard? If she has been tested positive as well, it would probably be a good idea. Just a one time dose of the Prednisone injectable given shortly before the initial treatment, along with the blood thinners (we just use aspirin in appropriate dosage) can help prevent any possible complications. We still give the apsirin for a couple days before and after each dose of Ivermectin, just to be on the safe side.

VERY glad you aren' going to use the Immicide, that stuff is SCARY!

i dont know i will have to call the vet on morgan... i have to call and get pickles weight too. we are using the heartgard to kill the larva and microfillaria in the bloodstream... i do not know by what means they will chose to kill the adults in the heart itself... they said the females are hard to kill so we will see.

i had to get money out of an account i have but my father actually has control over it and he nearly shat when i told him what i needed from it.... for both morgan and pickles $1400 .... i told him if you could have seen pickles the other day and how she turned around and looked at her today it's worth every penny... he huffed and puffed and said "well they are taking advantage of you, they know you will pay it" while i agree thats allot of money i look at the itemized bill and things just add up and they are a bit higher in prices but i do think it reflects in the care and time they spend with your animals.

Welcome Home Pickle Butt !

Robin, glad to hear she is home and feeling better. I will keep her and Morgan in my thoughts and prayers.
Keep your chin up. :)
