    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Ever since I saw my first Black tailed Cribo I have been in love with these beautiful snakes but it seems to be very hard to find a pair of them. Even though they are not very expensive snakes they seem to be hard to come by. I know of one male from someone I know who is selling at $80 but the poor fellow when he was brought to my friend was terribly emaciated had mouth rot and was kept in a wire cage by people who said "They knew how to keep snakes" So my question is does anyone know where I can find an adult pair of black tailed cribos??

Difficult to find

Unfortunately, healthy adult WC BT Cribos are difficult to come by, as even those of great outwardly appearance tend to harbor parasite loads large and diverse enough to consume an entire semester of parasitology, without covering the same topic twice. Those who have acclimated WC specimens rarely give such up, due to the amount of time, effort and expense involved. It is also rare for an individual willing to part with a CB pair they have raised to adulthood, as they too harbor a great investment in time and effort. However, if you are diligent, ask around and are patient you will eventually come across one of the rare instances when someone lets go of a nice adult or sub-adult pair. Having said that, I will attest to the fact that there is nothing quite like acquiring an unrelated, CB pair of youngsters, raising them up and watching your work come full circle when they produce bouncing baby BT’s of their own!

Best of luck to you,

Jeff

I think I may go ahead and buy the male black tail he is 6' and regaining health by the day. I have seen him for sale for months and he seems to be doing very well. The only problem would be to find a female of which I have NEVER seen for sale. Grrrr Preferably one of breedable size. if I could get my hands on one I am thinking of starting a breeding project hopefully to see if I could get these beautiful snakes there own corner of the market.

Are you talking about the guy over on Sports Arena Blvd. He has been there awhile alright. He came in with a female but she must have sold many months ago. I think you are right he seems to be gaining weight. Do him a favor and buy him.

Yeah that's the guy I never remember seeing a female?? Hrrrrm That sucks but yes that would be him. He has a bit of a temper in his cage but out he seems to be fine. I think with a little bit of work he will eventually be fine.
