    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Before I left for the holidays I checked all my snakes. I especially went over my pride and joy my BEL. They all where healthy and he was active and had eaten a few days ago. When I got back I went to check on him and he was dead. Just like that. No signs anything was wrong. No heat spikes or head drops. Every one else is doing fine (except me). I am devastated by this loss. I was going to take him in for a nurcopsy (sp) but I don't know how long he was dead for. If you just looked in the front of the cage it would look as if he was sleeping but his head had listed to the side. I hatched him a raised him. He was very special to me. My poor baby.

Sorry for your loss :( something similar happened to me last year, I had a 7 year old albino male who was on a breeding loan to me from a local high school. One day I had some people over and they all wanted to see him so I took him out and he cruised around my hand for a while acting normally so I put him back after about 5 mins and went on with my day, the next morning I woke up and he was stiff as a board. I have absolutely no idea what happened in those 12 hours. Which wasn't easy to explain to the animals owner.

Sorry for your loss Angela. It does happen and it is super frustrating. I had the best looking calico I have seen die a couple days ago. The worst part of it is that it was my sons snake. He still doesn't know. I am needing to pick something up and tell him I traded for that one and it is his.
