In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Thanks Cathy!!!

Yep, got him yesterday. He was being bottle fed by the lady who owned the parents, sadly most of his brothers and sisters died when the mama dog had some milk problems.
She works for a vet so between the vets help and his generosity in allowing the few left to go to work with her, this little guy made it.

He came with a nickname but I'm still considering what his permanent name should be. Your suggestions are most welcome.

He is spunky and full of mischief, and I think he is going to be a terrific dog!

I am pleased that y'all like him; he does not have the 'standard' symmetric kind of beauty since he has a patch of fawn coloring over one eye and not the other, one ear is fawn and one is white, and his tail is half fawn, half white but I love him just the way he is. He is a baby APBT.

I love the asymmetrical markings, it gives them so much more "personality", lol.

He looks like a Rufus to me for some reason......

He's definitely a cute one there Lucille. Another one to add to the pack? How many is that now? He's needing a good name there. When are we gonna hear it.

No question my home has 'gone to the dogs' :yesnod:

I'm working on choosing a name so that I don't get used to calling him 'Mommy's lil puddin' pie'.......

Here's a list of potential names:

Oscar
Joe Bob
Keaton
Rocky
Cujo
Toad
Sherlock

And here's some facts about the movie Cujo gotten from Wikipedia:

The dog that played Cujo in the movie was reported to be so friendly, they had trouble with him wagging his tail when he was supposed to be mauling someone to death. To overcome this, the crew had to tie his tail down. However, you can spot "Cujo" still happily wagging away when he corners one of the characters.
When the dog playing Cujo is 'attacking' the car windows, he is actually trying to find his favorite ball.
In his book On Writing, King has said he does not really remember writing the book as he was in a drug-induced stupor for the duration of its authorship.
This story marks the first appearance (in terms of publication order) of Aunt Evvie Chalmers, who is also a minor character in The Body and who plays a significant role (in flashbacks) in Needful Things.
The name "Cujo" was the alias of Symbionese Liberation Army member Willie Wolfe.
Cujo is also mentioned in the seventh and final volume of King's Dark Tower series, where Roland states the name means "sweet one" in the High Speech

I think Pibble is kind of a cute name. I could call him Mr. Pibb when he grows up.....
