    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Maybe its bad?

I figured this would happen and that it would be one of my Rats. Rayne has to go to the Vet. Rayne is one of the two I have and is the black and white one with three cute little black spots on her bum. She is Mommies Princess, and has Mommy kind of worried. For the past three days she has been sneezing what’s called pyphorin. I think I spelled that right. It doesn't come out with every sneeze and I didn't notice it the first two days because there wasn't enough of it and I thought I had tomatoes from their food dish on my hands or something. Yesterday though she sneezed enough of it on me that I noticed. The good signs are that there’s not a lot of it and she’s still an active little Rattie.

My friend Nicole said that when she took hers it was just from winter being the dry Season and some allergies. She said the Vet gave her Baytril with some other DX Medicine. You are supposed to see this in Ratties from time to time and it’s not always bad but it CAN be and I have to keep a good watch on her now until she goes. If I hear any wheezing that’s very bad. My worst fear is Pneumonia that catches up quick and can be fatal but it’s not that so long as she’s still active and breathing well. So for now their on watch and I am bringing their cage in the bathroom with me while I shower because the humidity is good for them and feeding them some extra onions.

I am very lucky to have such AWESOME Rat support down here and they have very good knowledge of Ratties. My friend Nicole has had four now and one died of Pneumonia. She’s the one that spent over a thousand dollars now on one Rat. She’s serious! Nicole also has another Rat friend who’s going to College to be a Vet, so Thank Goodness. Now I just wish I had Snake friends down here like this.

The only couple of things that scare the beejesus out of me are the money and the car. Figures I lack both. What happens if one day it’s an emergency and I can't get a Vet quick enough and lose somebody. How’s it going to feel if they have to have for instance one of those $600.00 surgeries that I just can't do? An animal doesn't deserve to be euthanized for $600.00 dollars just like I don't believe a Dog at the Human Shelter should get put down for bad temperament. The Puppy wasn't born that way, somebody seriously neglected it. I don't ever want to lose Rayne. She is the favorite Pet I have ever had the pleasure of having.

It really tore my heart strings yesterday because I freaked out finding this out and seeing the blood colored snout and that was only after our first ever cuddle session. Usually they can't keep still in one place and are always running and exploring, so cute. Yesterday though for the first time Rayne sat in my arms and watched me as she feel asleep, she was still with me for at least an hour. She has been profusely grooming these past few days to. She is such a cutie and I love her very much. I am only taking her for now unless I notice something wrong with Honey Puff which thankfully I haven't, and this will cost me $58.00 for just Rayne. That I am glad I can fit in for now and I just hope she passes her exam with flying colors. I have always tried to be preventive but having very strict cleaning rules and feeding them only the best. Wish me luck guys!
