    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Okay. I won this auction last Saturday afternoon. Within minutes Anthony at Michigan Herptiles had received my Paypal payment of 90.00 for 3 African Fat Tails. He assured me that they would ship Monday. Tuesday morning came, and no package, no email, no anything. I sent a rather strong email to him asking why I have no geckos, or an email telling me what's going on to which he started argueing his reputation here on Fauna and name dropping. He said UPS didn't come get the box, and that they would ship the next day (I assumed this would mean Wednesday). Here it is Thursday morning, no package, no email... no anything... does anyone know about this guy?

I know Tony pretty well as I am on his site also...I know he had some personal problems that he delt with..Of course this is no excuse...
Jeff , I will look into this matter personally and make sure that what you purchased will go out Monday and if I have to I'll ship them out for you.
Sorry for any problems this may have caused.
Just curious..., but you said name dropping ...whose names did he drop??
 
Well, like a dummy I deleted the email. I had thought he said Big Apple Herps, but now that I see your post, it could have, and mostly likely was you. He called you his "partner". I am not a complete jerk (I don't think anyway), but at least an email letting me know what's up would have been appreciated. At this point I haven't heard anything since Tuesday. It's like my 90 bucks has just disappeared.

As far as partners go, most people here know I have no 'real' partners just a lot of associates that I trust and deal with occasionally, Tony would be the closest I have [as a partner] as he lives only a mile or so away.

I'm really not... I just get real excited when I'm expecting new animals, and I have their house sitting empty.. and well it's killing me! LOL
