Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Worked a trade with Mike also for a 02 male Black King to breed to some of my females, and it arrived larger and more robust than he had told me! I would ship to him in a heartbeat, and did ship first in the trade. A great guy, with great stock, always happy to talk on the phone! I would deal with him again in a heartbeat, and hope to again soon! -Eric Lago
 
I'm not 100% sure but I'm about 99% that this is the guy that was selling Crested geckos on Kingsnake at 3 days old 3 or 4 weeks ago. That doesn't sound very responsible in my opinion.

As I have said im not 100% sure but I tried to remember the name and I'm pretty certain it was Mike Layman that was the name on the add. If I'm mistaken please let me know to correct me on this.

But at 3 days old... that is shady business practices in my opinion.
This is not to say he may not try to do right by people as a whole when things go wrong. Just that I feel animals should be well started and established first before sale, not barely getting thier first shed off.

While that may or may not be true,

my deal with Mike went amazingly well. We spoke over the phone and he seems like a VERY nice guy with extensive knowledge of the hobby. I shipped a 1.0 adult Henkeli to Mike on Wednesday, and he shipped the next day when he received him no questions asked and we received a PERFECT 2002 3.5' black king Friday morning at 10:15 am in a PERFECTLY packed box. Based on my experience, I would do business again in a heartbeat and ship no questions asked. While you may or may not feel that posting 3 day cresteds is "right" in your opinion, you cannot make any assumptions when a) you don't know if it's the same guy who posted, b) even if he did post cresteds at 3 days old, the packing job I received on the kingsnake would have delivered live healthy cresteds anywhere in the country, and c) you've never received anything from Mike to form a relevant post. Until I see some bad BOI's, Mike remains a good guy in my opinion, and I stress the fact that I would GLADLY do business with Mike again, and if he ever has anything available that you want, I suggest you do too, the only bad thing about Mike I conceived was the fact that he's a Florida Gator, and being an Ole Miss Rebel myself I couldn't help but gloat about the A$$ whopping we put on 'em last year!!!! LOL! If you recieve half the quality animal and packing job from Mike that I did, I bet you'd be happy with your purchase/trade 100%. -Eric Lago *MS Reptilian Hobbyists*
 
GOURMET RODENT/MIKE LAYMAN

I bought a red blood python from Mike Layman at Tinly Park show . Snake was suppose to be a female. The snake is a male. Called them twice at shop , both times worker said will have boss call back. Nobody ever called. Wouldn't recomend . Improper sexing of animals and poor customer service.

Mike Layman has not returned any calls this week, He has been dealing with the death of one of his close friends that was also one of our managers.
