    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I received a gravid wild caught yellow belly female, and she had 2 eggs hatch. Here are some pics of the male who looks totally different than the female(who is a yellow belly). Any thoughts on his genetics???

He is a Yb! Congrats! Keep him and breed him back to mom. See if there's anything going on with the line of yb.

:iagree: I'm NOT big on breeding back to Mom most of the time, but this would be one of the times I'd do it without thinking twice!

I have decided I am going to keep the male, since he looks so awesome.. It's hard to see in the pics, but the sides are vibrant orange, not just yellow. I will post some more pics post shed.
His sister is going to my friends to stay there, in case there is more to these little ones.
The amazing thing about them is that their flames are super high up on the body and the male does have a perfect heart on his head... His name is Valentine...

I guess "Valentine" works...I was thinking of "McLovin'"!!! :rofl: Congrats on producing that cool little guy! :D

I also got one of those gravid YB's, and mine are just now beginning to hatch. The only one fully out (just came out this morning) is amazing - I am thinking there is more than just the YB gene in this guy. Out of the 7 eggs only 2 look like this. The other looks like it is nicer than this one, then there looks to be 2 other regular YBs, and the 2 of the others I'm not sure. Possibly morphs but I don't think they are YBs. Once they're all out, I'll get more pics. Just thought I'd share since your female is probably from the same batch as mine ;)
