In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

K, so, long story short. I started working at a pet store about 4 weeks ago and they had 2 horned dragons in the back cause they were "sick". i got tired of them just waiting for them to die so i took them home yesterday To see what i can do for them. I may not have experience in them but anything is better then just watching them die....anyways....I've been reading up on them, i have tall branches in their enclosure, a large water dish with an airstone in it (the one had fun playing after i added it), and I bought some earthworms today to feed them (its either that or strained meat baby food, right?) They wernt eating on their own and i havnt seen them eat since i started at the pet store so i assist fed them a worm each to start....this revealed a respiratory infection for both of them. I dont have any money to take them to a vet but i had to take them cause i didnt want to just watch them die, is there anything i can do besides the vet? Any where i can get the medication or would anyone like to take them from me that has the means to help them? Thanks in advance.

hm...I don't think so. I think a vet is your best bet.

You can fill out this and e-mail Marcia Bradley. She has helped me with some of my sick mhds. She knows more about them than anyone I know. MHDs tend to go downhill pretty fast though, so you should probably act quickly. By the way, mine also eat crickets, superworms, mealworms, minnows..basically anything for other food ideas. For right now all you can do is look at the caresheet on that website I gave you and make sure the humidity and temps are right. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful!! Also, if they aren't eating on their own, you may want to get some pedialyte or mash up some crickets and mix them with gatorade. Then feed it down their throats with a needle-less syringe. It always works for me.
