    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I will be having my first clutch of the season around May 27th., my second mid June. I will be moving at the end of June.

Any suggestions for how I go about moving with two clutches in the incubator? Anyone ever done this before? I am only moving about 15-20 minutes away.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

Thanks!

This shouldn't affect anything as long as the eggs are not jarred or shaken. Make the incubator a priority, so that it was down as little as possible. Temps shouldn't fall to much over 20 min.

I've moved clutches 2 years in a row, 2.5 hours over bumpy roads with stiff truck suspension. Basically turned the cab into an incubator turning the heater on and off and watching a thermometer. Couldn't tell that it hurt anything. If your incubator is big enough put bottles of water as near incubator temp as possible in a few days before and then put those in a cooler with your eggs for the trip. Should hold the temp for you near perfect for that short trip but in my case I found them to be pretty tough.

Great! I already have about 12 water bottles in there so I will get a cooler to put the egg tubs into with the water bottles during the transportation. The incubator is definitely my number 1 priority during the move.
