In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

One of my female dragons bred for the first time this year. She laid 21 eggs.
She never was the same afterward. Not wanting to drink or eat much. Last night I found her in laying in blood all around her.
Anyone have any idea what could have happened?

How long between her laying eggs, you noticing she appeared "off" and her death was it; how much time passed?

I breed leopard geckos, and there were a few females I have bred that just never fully recovered after the egg laying process and passed soon after. Without a necropsy, it's hard to guess what happened to your kid. Could she have been egg bound?

I put her in warm water after she laid and thought it strange that she didn't want to drink like all the others did. Then she ate very little. I would say it had been about 2 weeks afterward that she died.

After she passed I opened her up to see if it had another thing to do with eggs but there were none. With blood being all around her it would seem like she hemoraged for who knows why. Like you I am thinking it had something to do with her laying the eggs. She was not a large girl so 21 eggs was a lot for her I am guessing.
