In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I still can't believe this is real. I came home feeling tired from work and talked with Vic about our work days, etc...I felt a tiny bit queesy but then realized as we lay there talking, I hadn't checked on Miss Hector yet (although when I reached in for the paper towels to wash my face, I smelled something that was similar to "oh someone needs a cage cleaning". I mentioned to Vic that I hadn't checked on her but I'm sure she'd be fine until morning...he then said sweetly "do you want to go ahead and check on her real quick?"
Now I had dreams recently that I'd go check and see babies, but it came true!!!! ;D
I called to Vic saying "Vic! You've got to see this! We've got babies!!" :D His response was a smile and "I'll see you in a few hours then, have fun." hehe ;D
OMG! I can't believe it's real! I'm so tired it just feels like it's a dream I'm going to wake up from. Miss Hector is doing great. She's super skinny but will get a meal tomorrow. Right now she's rehydrating and has a nice hide box.
I just gently removed them into a clean, nice warm cage with damp paper towels so they can emerge fully on their own and a water bottle nearby to spritz them during the day for the next couple days. :)

Thus far, they are "normal" in appearance and at the very least, 100% het for type II anery! No telling what will come out since Miss Hector is so dark herself...maybe when they are old enough to breed, I'll know! ;D

For now, I'm just so elated, my first litter of boas!!!! I'm never going to forget this! ;)

:D

Thank you kindly!

I just woke up (after 4hrs of sleep. LOL) and I'm soooo excited still. They are happy in their cage still looking around like "what the heck happened," but once they get all cleaned up, more pictures will come!

Hugs,

Amanda Rose

Hehe, certainly I will bring on the post-slime photos. ;) As soon as they reach that point. lol
And then, the post 1st-shed photos! (oh my!)

Hugs,

Amanda

YAY AMANDA!!! :hurray: Soo good to see that you're still around and doing well.
Congrats on the new babies. (and the first litter experience feels the same to me every litter)

Post 1st shed photos!

Thank you so much everyone for the warm wishes. :) Good to see you are still here and doing well too miss Laura! ;)

Here's the link for the new photos. :D They all shed 5/14 (go team go right? lol). We moved into a new apartment that day too so I just NOW have everything setup (camera, computer, sanity, etc) to post pictures. All these kids are doing great and came out with some NICE colors!!
Pictures don't do them justice (whenever do they eh?)

Here ye go!
I'll try just the shots of them individually. I have better shots too (of course, I'll always shoot a ton of pictures. LOL

I love their coloration. Vic describes it as "granite" coloring which looks amazing on these kids. Also, their tails start off "normal" looking, but then the last few saddles are so dark, I'm going to shoot some new pics in a few days (after their first meal digests) to see if they have any red scales or are black. These kids are just so pretty. :) I'll sex them soon!

Hugs,

Amanda Rose
