    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

My first Gecko/Reptile EVER!

Cute lil bugger, try a small bowl with some mealworms in with it also.

Calcium is very important with growing leos.

Is there anything from the grocery store that I can give it until I can get Calcium?

A piece of fruit?

Some sort of herb?

Naw, a week with out wont kill it.

Also keep in mind that these guys are nocturnal and you normally wont see them eating.

Just look for lil leo poo on the cage floor and that will confirm that its eating.

Haha, save the herb for me. ;)

True, it ate fine in the pet store. I watched it.

Uh.. I'm not sure if it is poop or not. It's light brown, small... kind of poop-like I guess. I poked it with a pencil and it had the texture of Sand. o_O;
Isn't it supposed to be two colours? This one isn't.

Ha, will do.

She has eaten 3 or four crickets today. ^_____^

I bought a can of Zoo Med's 'mini mealies' it said on the can they were great for baby leopard geckos. So I got a film canister lid and put some in it and sprinkled them with MinerALL o multi vitamins.

Which I had to take 3 busses to get to the pet store that sold it. Lol

I bought a fresh bag of crickets too, but half of them were dead. o_O;;

So no more buying crickets from there.

Oh!

And here's another Picture of Jax.

I need to figure out what's going on with the camera. >_>

More pictures!

Jax pooped yesterday! *happy dance*

Funny thing happened today though.
I opened the container with the crickets in it and one JUMPED OUT! I was like :O Oh no. I thought it landed on my dresser but it didn't. It landed in the bag that they go in to get powdered with vitamins before getting eaten. It was awesome. But it was a HUGE cricket. Jax ran away from it at first. But I think she ate it now.

And she's letting me hold/pet her a lot now. I forced my dad to hold her in the tank too. He was like "that wasn't so bad... but I won't do it again."

He lies. We all know he loves the gecko. ^_^
Jax was cool with it too. She just trotted along our hands. She likes to go up my sleeve, though, if I forget to roll it up first. Lol

Okay, so I've been misting the tank every day.

I'm just curious, when will Jax start shedding?

She's roughly three months old now.

However, doesn't seem to like the moist hide. It's just a margerine container right now until I can get something better. She won't go it in. It make sure it's moist all the time, though. Just in case.

I've been feeding her one-two crickets every day, so that she gets the vitamins she needs. They're good sized ones, too. Since the petstore kind of failed at their measuring...

But she eats them after a while.

She really likes climbing the plastic ficus plant I got her. And I surprised her by getting the exact same hide she had in her tank at the petstore. I saw her in it a lot there, and when she wasn't really going anyway in the tank, I decided to make it more natural - looking. Without plastic tubs. Lol

I had another question.
I used to collect rocks.. can I put some in the tank for her to climb around on?
I'll wash them first, but whats the best way to do so?
