    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I am just going to say something and thats it. This is my last time on this forum. Not that anyone gives a shit but it is. I see so many people posting including myself many times with no response when people are looking for help. It takes like 3 days or 70 people to look at it before you get an answer. WHat the hell. Why are you even on this site if you are going to look at a question but not even try and help? If you are on this forum that means you have a beardie, and if you dont have a beardie why are you looking at questions that have no replies. Obviously not to see if you can get get help from an answer becaise there is no answer and you can see that. IT MAKES NO SENSE! I post on other fourms and get answers immediately. And give them immediately or try and help. This board is pointless. Peace Im outta here.

Wow!!!! I know I have responded to several of your questions.

I suppose I should apologize for not being as quick as you like.

This forum is by no means a really "popular" one compaired to say, the leo forum here. But many here do try our best to answer questions. I will admit though that seeing 3 threads about the same topic from the same person in the same week does get tiresome. Or when someone asks a question. You answer it with a question to try to find out more info to help and they don't reply back. That sucks too......... Or the ever present, "I'm getting a new beardie and I need to know what to do". This forum has a search feature that MANY completely ignore. And for many of us who answer questions................. You can only answer the same questions so many times before you start ignoring them.

It's just part of the territory here.
 
Well I was going to help this guy along with a fine and suspension, but since he is leaving under his own steam............

But I checked the posts he made in this thread, and it appears that nearly all of his queries were answered within a few hours, at most. It was only the last one, which was a repeat of the last few earlier posts about temps, that didn't get answered (yet again).

So......... with that in mind......... :wavey: :wavey: :wavey:
 
Not to mention that your thread is listed under "Recent Discussions" on the main page of this website. Many people wouldn't know what animal it was in reference to until they opened it up. Observe some patience. :>poke2<: :uzi:

I raised that very issue the last time I saw him griping about not getting a response (if you reread some of his previous posts & note the timestamps, he is not very patient)
 
When I started keeping herps, there was no help. I didn't know anyone who kept them, there was no magazines or internet. I learned by trial and error experimenting over the course of months with a given species working it out based on observations. I was thrilled to find people in my part of the state with similar interests that I could visit with every month or two.
You post a question and get upset because you haven't had an answer in less than an hour? What do you want a toll free 24 hour hotline for instant gratification on any little question that flits across your brain?
You use this FREE forum, where those who have put in the years to gain their experience volunteer for FREE to offer advice and you feel we owe it you you apparently. This isn't our job, and no one here is obligated by any means to answer anything, when answers are given it's because people want to help and it's done at their convenience not at your whim.

I reviewed your questions and you asked nothing to which an answer wasn't easily available on any number of care sheets, websites, or other forum posts on the net. You could have had your answers in minutes instead of sitting there refreshing the page over and over waiting on someone to spoon feed you.
If someone is good enough to offer help it's wise not to constantly complain about the speed in which it is provided. You might try to be grateful help was provided at all considering the person giving the advice has absolutely nothing to gain by doing so.
 
I do make an effort to answer questions on which I am qualified to answer. I work full time and go to school and I am a single mom, but I manage to give some time here.
I agree with the others that a little patience is in order, there are many good people and some, unlike me, are reptile pros and many are generous with their time and advice; but all of us have a life outside this board and we respond as we can.
 
I agree whole heartedly with everyone about the fact that he's been impatient and rude. I try to give information when I can but people have to remember that we do have lives outside of answering questions and that if you need the info that fast pick up a book or look it up. I knew nothing about my beardies when I got them but I did get The Bearded Dragon Manual with my beardies which helped a lot before I found forums. Bearded dragon forums don't move as fast as others do probably because they aren't as popular as other reptiles which is understandable since they take a lot of time and space which in todays society isn't ideal for a lot of people. I'm no expert by all means but if I don't know the answer to an important question I'll do my best to find it to help that animal have a better quality of life so its best to live by the old saying patients is a virtue and not expect people to jump just because you tell them to.
