    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Need a little help with breed identification..

I got these 2 little guys about a week ago.. a friend nearly ran the poor abandoned puppies over.. long story short we are now fostering them til they find their forever home...

Ok they have been to the vet, he guessing age between 10-12 weeks. They are underwieght and have 'worm bellies'- getting wormed next week. The male is 19.2 lbs and the female is 17.2 lbs. At first I was think a bordie collie mix, until we discovered they are still really young and way to big to be borders. Also they have the webbed feet of water dogs such as the newfoundland. They are already protecting the yard and kids.. barking and putting up quite the show to anyone who comes near the yard.. ummm.. What would your guess be for breed or mix of breeds for these siblings?? Their parents were said to be 'big black dogs'.

I have lots more pics if any particular angle is needed..

Thanx....

I'd guess definitely a Lab mix.....with what, it's hard to say, lol. The coat texture and pattern, and higher set ears almost makes me say an Australian Shepherd/Lab mix....?

We had some almost identical pups come into my clinic last week! They were supposed to be Lab-Border Collie mixes. Which explains the longish hair with the webbed toes. They're cute!

Why do I think I see Chow in there? Expecially the first pic, guy on the left..

From our dealings with dogs, we've found that chows usually have some dark spots on their tongue which I don't see (on the one anyway). So my guess would also be some type of lab mix. They are cute....good luck with them.

Thanx all!
We are figuring they are some sort of lab/border collie mix.. maybe aussie in there... who knows. They are doing great too. They are gaining wieght so fast! From 17 ands 19 lbs to 26 and 25 lbs in 2 weeks :)

Thanx Margaret! They are doing great and are big!!

The female definitely kept the border collie/lab look.. but brother.. he is looking alot like a german shephard in the head and hieght area! he really hooked himself into our hearts.. we decided we are keeping him! We are still looking for a forever home for Luna though. She needs more attention than I can give.. my three kids take up a lot of time, and she needs more one on one.. sad.. but I want what is best for her!

its great that you are keeping one i'm sure the kids love them but two would be alot more work than maybe you can afford.wish i could take her but my house is already a zoo with 2snakes 1 dog 2 cats 1 frog and 2 kids.luckily i'm a stay at home mom.we only got one animal on purpose the other animals just came from bad situations and they grew on me iv'e vowed to take no more animals i run around all day making sure their clean have food water and have attention add 2 kids in the mix and well it makes for one busy household bbut we make it work.i really do hope she finds a good home she really deserves it..
