    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Need Caging Help Please!

Yeah I just moved to NC from Orlando,Fl like 9 months ago. actually Pet Bazaar is where I bought my 2 Ball pythons. See but those exo terras arnt big enough to house 2 GTP's or ETB's or ATB's.

see i want to find one with that same style cause its allows for a deep topsoil bed to have live plants and vines growing in and still house 2 animals something pretty much exactally to what that second link shows with the fish and the land. plus it is all on timers and shit like Im used to with my Reef aquarium. all i have to do is feed and do a water change every month, wipe the glass. once you have systems like that dialed in you have to do very little maintanence to them if your ambiant temp stays constant

Unfortunately, you might wind up having to build your own enclosure (or have someone build one for you) if you want to house two snakes in a style like the exoterras. :( As you get into larger enclosures, it becomes more cost effective to design and build your own, especially if you have a certain style in mind like in this case, where a ready-made solution isn't available.

But with the enclosure you're describing, you can have a system all set up for the right temps (and if you use a sprayer system, humidity as well), but you'll still have to do fecal and skin shed cleanup. If you have a water area like a lagoon, rather than a water dish, snakes sometimes make a toilet out of their water. You'd probably have to change water more often than once monthly (I don't know of a filter set up that can take care of large solid waste from a snake, nor would you want a snake to be drinking water that had any fecal solids or liquids in it). Arboreal snakes can be sensitive, and always need fresh water, which is why most people use water dishes, though a naturalistic enclosure would look awesome.

In my opinion, arboreal pythons are great for setting up a more decorated cage, because it seems like they don't "crush" cage plants like other pythons and boas can.

Good luck in finding or building a cage! Make sure to post when you find or make something.
