In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

well i cant seem to think up a name for my Biz and my website i am struggling now for like 4-5 monthes and still cant seam to think up any good ones here is what i got so far let me know what you think also my name is Billy Blanchet and my fiance is meghan and we are from feeding hills Massachusets and we primarily have leos and a few beardies hope you all can help shine some light in my attic

I would have to say Bay State Geckos. B&M Gecko is too close to Alberto’s (like you said) and people might get Spyder Geckos confused with the spider gecko species. It’s hard choosing a name. It took me several weeks to name mine. Just make sure it’s one you like because that’s what it’ll be.

I wouldn't go with B&M because there's already a BLM Reptiles and B&M Aquatics. Plus that whole two-initialed business name is overdone. :p

Spyder Geckos is kind of ambiguous. You might have people questioning if you deal with spider geckos. (Do you?)

I hope that helped limit your choices a bit.

thank you so far for the help

if you guys have any suggestions based on the info i supplied feel free to let me know

also if i could just produce a Spyder phase leo it would be really easy lol

thanks again Billy

I would also have to say Bay State Geckos out of the choices listed. Here are a few other names that sound alright but they dont relate to the info you provided.
LeoLand , LeopardGeckosGalore, GeckoMorphs, GeckoMorpher, LeopardGeckoHaven, SmokingSerpents, BillysGeckoFarm, B&MGeckoFarm, GeckoFactory.
I know these pretty much suck lol but they are some more ideas. Or use variations of them I have alot more but I dont think they are much better.

i vote bay state geckos,, b&m is way close to albertos name and like everyone else said, if you go with spyder geckos you might get alot of questions asking if you deal with spider geckos, bay state geckos sounds better anyways

Hey Billy, I went through this same

thing about 8 months ago. I actually went through the dictionary to find interesting words, I even asked some of my hispanic students for some cool spanish words. I had a couple that I liked but didn't pick: Gladiator Geckos ( I liked it, but too macho) and Heirloom Herps. I don't know if anyone is using these but if you like them I don't have a problem if you want to use one of them.

You're missing it...

Billy,
First of all, the name doesn' fit...you must acquit....LOL. Take ours for instance. David & Debbie = Double "D". And for some "unknown" reason, it does seem to stick in the mind just a tiny bit.

Personally, I think you've already gotten it provided you're the sole owner and have no need to make more of it than your own values and your own level of quality when it comes to your animals and customer service. I vote for:

Billy's Reptile World.

See, for some reason it just fits like that proverbial glove.

David

Of the choices given, I voted for Bay State Geckos. But it would suck if you had to move out of state in a couple of years. I don't think Billy's Reptile World is bad. It's your name and it describes what you've got for sale, though I understand if your trying to do something new with your fiance. You could always use your last name (Blanchet Herps....). Hmm....nothing else is coming to me, not very creative today.

Bay State Geckos sounds good to me. Billy's Reptile World is not bad either. Some thoughts on the 4th choice on the vote list: "addicting gecko", how about just call it "Gecko-addict.com"?

ok...think?

Are you going to "only" have Geckos?
You said you also had beardies....so????? think about what you may be doing , not only now....but five years down the road! Don't limit yourself in the future because of a name you picked in your past!

Personaly...I like BILLY'S REPTILE WORLD

Just an idea

but beings as yoyr from Massachusets, how about "Geckos in Mass" or "Mass Reptiles".

Overton is right, if you are going to be breeding and selling the beardies too, you shouldn't geckos in the name.

How about "Bay State Reptiles"

Well it is to late i already registered for www.baystategeckos.com it is ok because my focuse will be primarily geckos and beardeds are just a side thing for now and if i get heavily into them i can always change the site name later but anyway thank you all for your help i apreciate it alot

Billy

Look for the new site soon it should be up in a couple of weeks

Billy's Reptile World sounds too amateurish.

But who am I to judge, look at my business name :D

I also liked the suggestion of going with your last name.

Steven, your probably right....I just kinda like the 'honest" feeling that it gives you....But again your probably right.
Blanchet reptiles?
Bay State Reptiles?
Who knows......go with what feels right to you, billy!
