    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Need some advice

Hey guys. I'm a first time breeder and my Harlequin males eggs are in the incubator. First of 2 clutches I have coming.
I can not find anybody selling single gene Harlequins. Does nobody handle them as single-gene snakes? I only find them available in double and triple gene snakes.
I was just trying to get some idea what price range to start in if he proves out. I assume, by looking at other single gene snakes, that $150 male and $200 female would be a good place to start. Am I thinking right or not?
He wasn't actually bought as a breeding plan but I got him in a package with 2 females I picked up a while back and figured I'd at least prove him out.

personally...I have never been into the "Harelquin" morph...Im not to positive it really is a morph or just like the "Jungle" morph...just a look that pops up from time to time...I wouldnt spend anywhere near that much for 1...maybe $50...unless something big comes out of that "morph" I dont ever see it taking off...The GHI is a good example I will throw out there...when it first came out I didnt like it...thought it would go nowhere...then the crosses came out and I think its one of the best morphs around...so...experiment with crosses is my advice...good luck

Michael you should definitely check out NERD's FB page then, Harlequin does more than just pop up from time to time.

Harlequin Lesser is awesome by itself, then Kevin starts mixing it into crazier combos and you can definitely see the gene doing it's thing.

I dig them. I don't think they are a game changer or anything, but if you want to add some thick stripes to some combos then they are just the tool you need.

Anyway, I'm not sure on single gene Harlequins. I'd email Kev as ask him about them, or maybe anyone else reputable enough that you see working with them.:thumbsup:

Thank you both for your input. I will probably try and get a hold of Kevin and see what his advice is. If they prove out I'll definitely be keeping at least one just to play with combos but with 7 eggs and a dominant morph I could end up with more than I really need. This is why I was sending out feelers now.
