In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Need Some ideas... pics inside...

Hello all, glad I found this site and forum.
Those who don't know me, I have had snakes since the early eighties, venomous since, since, before it was legal for me to have them. I made a decision to not keep hot stuff anymore. I lived with a woman who had younger kids that were well, stupid. She hated them anyway and tried for years to rid me of them. Shortly after, 1999, I gave up all snakes, then she gave me up.
I now have a wonderful wife and am building a good Corn, King, and Pine collection. Hots are next!
Here is the problem...
Last time I had to renew a license it was still cheap, five bucks as I remember. Now it is 100 dollars. Not the problem; since it has been more than five years I need 1000 of experience as well. I need a place to go volunteer on weekends. Or anybody else who may have had to something similar, how did you do it? Zoo, to much liability. :shrug01:

Here is why-
these are on loan to George Van Horn at Reptile World Serpentarium. If they breed... I can get one.

Obviously I cannot help Craig, but I wish you the best of luck and look forward to AWESOME pictures in the future!!
actually after much negotiation with the state, they are accepting my time working at Gatorland as my 1000 hrs. I'll have my permit soon. :yesnod:

That's awesome, congrats. What kind of snakes did you have in mind besides the ones at the Serpentarium?

I like copper heads, and eyelash vipers... I find the rattlesnakes oddly fascinating too.

Well Lauren...

I've always been into domestic stuff. Not into anything that can kill me in twenty minutes. ;)
The Red Pygmy and Arizona Ridge Nose have always been a favorite of mine. Back in the day they were not readily available. But today!

Eh... I don't think eyelash vipers can kill in 20 minutes. I just think they are quite pretty to look at. Same with most other venomous snakes.
