    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Jim, if you have proof that Neil lied about that statement, please let everyone know.

In my opinion, there is a huge difference between the people that intentionally screw others out of money, and those that do their best and occasionally have to fix things.

my only angel is we read time after time after time the same thing from neil.you are just out to get me i did nothing wrong you did it all.im giving you nothing because you brought it here and talked bad about me.well bs.i had nothing against neil other than what i find to be way high prices.but if he can get it then go for it.
i have seen entirely to many times someone say bad things about neil then they are rail roaded out of here.it's a never ending loop: neil doe's someone wrong,they complain,neil says oh well to late you are getting nothing i don't care if it's 25% smaller and the wrong sex it's yours,i'm doing nothing for you,someone says comone neil you always saying do the right thing but you refuse,neil finally gives in says he will do the right thing(may or may not do it),everyone yeaaaaa neil we knew you would.then it starts all over again on down the road.john you say knew ya had it in ya right thing ..as soon as we hear from either of the 2 mentioned people i will say great job neil for taking care of this matter.but you know it should not come to him having to be forced into doing the right thing.

That has got to be the smoothest growth I have ever seen on a Captive Born Star Tortoise! I'm not saying that it is impossible but they typically develop at least some pyramiding(especially if fed Romaine and other supermarket items instead of grasses/weeds).

Just a quick post to let everyone know I was given a warning from the webslave for my post on Neil. I posted my opinion on Neil and I don't regret what I posted. I stand behind what I posted and if the webslave feels a warning was what I needed then so be it.

Neil is now being praised for doing the right thing. Why?
He should have done the right thing from the start!!!!
It seems he only did the right thing after much pressure from the BOI.

Neil didn't do the right thing from the start because he is what I said he is. He tried very hard to get away with it which proves my opinions of him correct. I won't say good job Neil for doing the right thing. But, I will say it is about time you did the right thing.

The bottom line is that both situations were taken care of, what's that ole saying " Better late than never " ? But in my opinion that type of name calling was wrong. That type of stuff does not belong here in my opinion. I am just glad that those two people are taken care of and that tortoise is still around. How is doing anyway, did it recieve any treatment ? And is it eating yet ? I think everyone lost sight of that little star .....

As far as the BOI goes, it has allowed Neil to act this way and justify at least to himself and his supporters out there. If a problem did arise, there would be a whole bandwagon of people jumping down anyones throat who dared go against Neil

John.... If you seriously want to return that Star.... do it, and I'll refund you immediately (PLUS your shipping back to me!).... and, honestly, I don't care if you post it or not.... I'm certainly NOT doing this because of what is being said.... but, I think you know that.... I'm doing it because the more I think about it, I should have been more sympathetic.... I guess I was just in the midst of finding out that I had 2 DOA's because of TOO MUCH HEAT!!.... You could have spread them on your toast!.... Their replacement animals (of the same types) arrived fine because I eased up on the heatpacks.... I still just can't see how the way I package an animal can let it get URI.... As you know.... I have NEVER even asked you to PROVE that fact.... I was going to, but, the more I thought about it, it was useless.... I also know that no matter WHAT I do at this point, you'll probably never buy from me again.... but, I already KNOW this, and I'm STILL making the offer.... so, if you want to send it back tomorrow, so I get it Tuesday.... do it.... looking much better neil..i still say that you should not have to be forced into doing the right thing everytime something goe's wrong for you.like it or not for some reason you are not going to make everyone happy and all you can do is take it in the kisser and give in to what they want.even if you feel they are screwing you there is nothing you can do.all it doe's is make you look badd if you don't give in. i know for a fact i've been screwed over a couple of times but i took it grinning all the way and you will not find 1 bad post anywhere on any site about me.true i do not sell on the net in near the volume you do but if i did i still would not have the negative posts.the customers always right regardless if they are or there not.neil i have met way to many people that hate you because of your posts.you always say do the right thing but then you have to be forced to do the right thing.i have never seen 1 post where you admit wrong right from the beginning. they may be there but i haven't seen them.you know bubba swallow your pride every so often and you may get the respect

I wasn't planning on posting what I did at all.... It was actually Davey who convinced me to!.... If you STILL think I made these problems right because YOU TOLD ME TO.... man, do you have another thing coming.... so i'm bad at spelling but great at customer service..on the other hand you are great at spelling but terrible at customer service..i know for a fact i did not make you do what is right but the other 20 or so people posting here did.if you will remember you e-mailed me last friday i think it was and said for no reason were you going to refund davey..why the change of heart ???did it really take 3 weeks to decide to do the right thing or was there just to much pressure from your friends and enemies to do it ???i think it is the last part.i have no chip on my shoulder and i have read and comprehended everything you have said.it does not matter how it is comprehended you are still wrong and still doing customers wrong.i hope my spelling was a little better this time for you neil if not please bring it to my attention and i will see if i can sound it out for you.

I did not gain my viewpoint from THIS thread. So to answer your questions; I don't believe anyone is cutting John's throat nor did I ever say that. Maybe 1 or 2 people jumped in as Neil's defense.
This thread just showed an example of how he can behave and what has to be done to get him to right a wrong. I dont think you should take that personally. Do you think my statement or my opinion is invalid? There are probably some that agree with me and others that are probably indifferent, but this is what I've generally seen. I also think Jim was just posting on the FACT that Neil has said previously that he has taken care of it, when which in fact he had not. So that is also a valid point. He is just saying lets wait and see til it is solved before we congratulate anyone twice (meaning for the second time, since we all gave him a thumbs up origianlly)!!!!

First i would like to thank everyone for their support. I did receive Neils e-mail and i did respond. I will be sending it back for a full refund. I hope Neil can really turn him around as i did become attached to the little guy in the short time that i had him. I hope he becomes the chow hound that Neil said he was. I just feel that he wasnt 100% healthy when i received him and i wasnt 100% comfortable keeping him. Thanks again for all the suppport, John Martino
