In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

These little spotted rascals were born yesterday. I'm thrilled with them:)
Each litter gets nicer than the one before. I think these might be my best yet :dancer01: :dancer01: :dancer01:

Bengals are a hybrid breed between domestics and Asian leopard cats (Felis bengalensis.) Most however are so far removed from the wild leopard cat they have very little leopard cat genes. Bengals four generations or more removed from leopard cats are considered domestics by TICA and can be entered in cat shows.
These new born kittens are F6's (six generations removed from the wild leopard cat.)
The photo is a beautiful Asian leopard cat.

OK. Thanks for the education. I am pretty ignorant when it comes to cat breeding. I learned something today.
What is the market like for these guys? Are there a lot of responsible buyers?

What do the parents look like? Are they larger than your "normal" cat? BTW I have a large, fat cat that weighs 14 pounds and the last time I had to take her to the vet I had to put her in a Rubbermaid tub because she was too fat to fit in the pet taxi. LOL Man I love kitties.

I have no trouble finding good homes for the kittens. But I don't make any profit from breeding them. For me this is about the challenge of trying to produce a domestic cat with the look of a wild leopard cat according to the TICA standard. It's just a hobby.
I only have one (or sometimes two) litters a year. My best kittens go to show or breeder homes and the rest find loving pet homes. I've never produced more than 12 kittens in a calender year. But Unfortunately there are a lot of kitten mills out there producing bad quality bengals in mass quantities. So if your interested in getting one make sure you only deal with a breeder who is dedicated to improving the breed and not just the bottom line.

Bengals are highly variable in size. I have a adult female that is only 5 pounds and a HUGE male that is 22 pounds (honest!) I would say the average is 7 to 13 pounds.

Here are pics of the sire and dam. The Mom is the one standing on the table. Both of these pics were taken when they were about 10 months old. They are now about 4.
Man I love kitties too. But I'm nuts about all animals :)

And just for the heck of it I thought I would show off one of my REALLY BIG girls. This is a Jungle cat (Felis chaus) hybrid. She is HUGE and struts around the house like a cougar.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN

That's so cute :) I hope she gets what she wants. Good bengals are great pets.
Here is a pic of one of my larger males. He has the marble pattern and not spotted. I placed a 2 liter coke bottle in the pic so you could get a idea of his real size. His neck alone is larger around than the bottle. He is about 20 pounds now at 6 years old.
