• Responding to email notices you receive.
    **************************************************
In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

  • IMPORTANT! PLEASE READ!! About the Google Adsense ads being displayed

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I've recently been working on some enhancements to this site as well as to my growing family of websites I maintain. Here's a list of the latest ones that have recently been completed and opened to the public

  1. http://www.BoardOfInquiry.com - I started this a little while back to expand on the BOI concept and have it cover a broader range of topics. Lord knows that anyone participating in Ebay will have an interest in something like this! There are problems in all types of fields of people trying to scam others at every turn. I certainly have gotten my share, so I assume most other people are in the same boat. Of course, it will probably result in my buying Excedrin in case lots, but what the heck.

  2. http://www.FaunaLinks.com - This is an interesting script that I found a while back and purchased, but only just recently found time to install. It's a program to allow registered members there to post links to their websites and tell a bit about it. I haven't explored all of the bells and whistles there, but it seems to have a good set of features. I thought it may be interesting for people to play with.

  3. Check out the bottom of the posts members have made on this site. There are two new clickable buttons there right next to the EDIT (if applicable) and QUOTE buttons.
    • The first one is ADS which will display ALL of the classified ads that member has placed in the Classifieds Section of this site. It is real handy way for people to be able to check out your ads at the click of a button when viewing your posts in the forums.
    • The second one is GALLERY which will display all of the photos that member has uploaded into the Photo Gallery Section of this site. This gives you a handy way to display to people those photos you have uploaded for "bragging rights" to show off your critters.

If you get a chance, please check them out and see how they work for you.

Both BoardOfInquiry.com and FaunaLinks require that you register there anew. Although it may have been possible to link the membership table with this site and utilize your registration here, I didn't want to get myself painted into a corner where I would be required to have ALL of these sites residing on the same single server. In the future, I would most certainly regret doing something like that. So unfortunately, you will have to go through another registration process in order to utilize those sites.

Thanks.

Very cool! I love that I can now see what a user has in the ads without going through all of them to find one seller!

They are very useful particularly the “ads” function. Thanks Rich!

I agree! I love that I can just click the ads button instead of searching for stuff from that person. Great Upgrade!
