• Responding to email notices you receive.

    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hi all. I am the new owner of a baby iggy. My kids went to the local fair and guess what .They are giving them away as prizes. Yep I said it. now the area will be over run with these poor things. ours got lucky and found a whole house full of suckers who LOVE anything that critters around. we have 1 Newfoundland Dog (newfie), 1 White German Shepherd, 4 cats, 1 gerbil and several misc. frogs, spiders, ect (catch/save of the day). we have friends who have had iggys before so we know more than the average "winner" of one of thes fellas. But how crazy is it that these guys are being given to kids (or adults) who have NO earthly idea how to care for them. OK I am done venting. I look forward to getting to know some of you here.

Welcome !

Welcome to this forum, even if it's not very busy. Well i cant believe that they give these poor lizards to anyone just like that. It's so cruel, i'm sure that a LOT of these have a very cruel end. At least i'm glad that you can save one, do you best !

Please keep us posted !

I know how you feel. They just stopped that same practice along the New Jersey board walks!

..... I wonder why the NJ rescues were swamped with iguanas??
